Facilities - The Pavilions
The Pavilions offers a choice of en-suite student accommodation, ranging from self-contained studio apartments to six-bedroom apartments to share. All apartments are fully fitted and furnished, and you’ll have your own, or a shared lounge/kitchen/dining area. You can apply for accommodation as an individual, a couple or a group, so it is your choice whether to have your own space, move in with friends or make new ones in a shared apartment. Rent is all-inclusive; together with those little extra’s from free Broadband Internet to free Contents Insurance, from leather sofa’s to a 32” Television with Sky Sports and Freeview.
Sleeping
Studios
The Pavilions Studio Apartments are exclusive to Mezzino Accommodation, offering individuals or couples their own private space with all of the state-of-the-art facilities Mezzino has to offer. These self-contained apartments are designed to meet individual needs, with a fully fitted kitchen, breakfast bar, en-suite bathroom, study area, and a bedroom area featuring a double bed, wardrobe, bedside unit, mirror and wall light. In addition, studio apartments include a 20" LCD Television that comes with a free TV licence, Freeview and Sky Sports channels, plus free broadband Internet, free Contents Insurance and leather sofa chair.
Apartments
Apartments have 1, 2, 4, 5 or 6 en-suite bedrooms, together with a shared, fully fitted and furnished kitchen/dining/ lounge area.
Each en-suite bedroom comes fully furnished and includes a double-sized bed, wardrobe, bedside unit, wall light, desk, desk chair, wall-mounted shelving unit, pin board, bin, , and a 3-drawer unit under the desk. Each bathroom is fitted with a power shower, wash-hand basin and toilet, in addition to a towel rail and mirror. FREE Broadband Internet and FREE Contents Insurance are provided for in all bedrooms, as well as curtains , double-glazing and an energy saving heater. A telephone service is available in all bedrooms at an additional cost and can be provided by registering on arrival.
Eating
Kitchens are fully fitted and each includes an electric cooker with extractor fan, microwave, fridge and freezer. You’ll also have your own dishwasher, so you’ll never have to argue about whose turn it is to wash up! There’s also a dining area with a breakfast bar and stools.
Living
Each lounge area has comfy leather sofas, as well as a 32" LCD Television, with a free TV licence, Freeview and Sky Sports channels. If you looking for a more social area to hangout, then the ‘MezzBar‘ and ’MezzCafé’, located on site next door to Clayton House, is the place to go. With excellent deals on food and drinks, the MezzBar is an excellent place to hang out with friends, either watching the football, just relaxing or as a place to start the party.
Laundry
Our fully fitted laundry room can be found on the ground floor and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week – ideal for those times when you run out of clean socks!
Extra Facilities
Mezzino Accommodation is in a whole league of its own, providing a unique living experience that appeals to all students, especially with all the added extra’s Mezzino includes in the price of your accommodation. The NEW MezzBar and Mezzcafe on-site, is a great place to start any party, get over a hangover, or as a place to just relax and socialise. The Mezz Bar which, is a great place to socialise, featuring a huge TV projection screen showing all major football games, pool tables and amusement machines, not to mention the great bar offers on drinks. There are several events in the bar on a weekly and monthly basis to encourage you to have fun and let your hair down, from pool and poker competitions for the lads to ‘girls night’s in’ and Ann Summers parties for the ladies, not to mention the live band performances, quiz nights and the battle of the DJ’s. Additionally there is The MezzCafe which is located on the ground floor, serving an excellent choice of food during the day from full English breakfasts to baguettes and jacket potatoes, to chips and burgers; all at very affordable prices. And with its very own home delivery pizza service and free Internet kiosk what more could you ask for. Also on site, just to give you that little bit more, as if we haven’t spoilt you enough with the 32" LCD Television, Free TV licence, Sky Sports and Freeview, Free Internet, Free Contents Insurance and comfy leather sofa’s to enjoy it all on, there is also an on-site solarium.
Security
Only Mezzino residents carrying a security key fob have access to the site which is secured by fencing all the way around. In addition, each block has its own security door entry system, that can only be accessed by residents within the block and not by visitors or residents from other blocks on site. Each resident is also provided with their own security key, which is specially made to open their apartment front door and their own bedroom, only. Full 24-hour CCTV is in operation throughout the site and members of the Accommodation Team are on site 24 hours a day in case of an emergency. Smoke and fire detectors are fitted throughout.
Car parking and bike storage
The Pavilions does offer car-parking facilities, but there are only a limited number of spaces available to residents. Spaces will be allocated according to needs, with priority given to those with disability needs.
If you rely on pedal power however, there are bike storage racks outside each block.
